Welcome to Affix Pictures! I’m Arshdeep Singh, a filmmaker based in Punjab, India. who believes stories are meant to be felt, not just watched. I like to work with a sense of freedom—unafraid of breaking rules, following instincts, and letting creativity flow naturally. For me, the camera is less a tool and more a companion that helps me see the world differently.

 

 

Background

 

 

My journey began in India, where I studied TV & Film Production at Punjabi University, Patiala. Later, curiosity pulled me into the world of business for a while, but the call of cinema was too strong to ignore. That pull eventually led me to Langara College, Vancouver, where I focused on Directing and immersed myself in the art of visual storytelling.

 

 

My Approach

 

 

I’ve always believed filmmaking is about honesty—capturing raw emotions, little details, and moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. My style is simple but intentional, letting stories breathe on their own. I like working without too many rules, experimenting, and keeping things real and human.

With Affix Pictures, my aim is to build more than just films or photos—I want to create experiences that leave people with something to feel, remember, or even question. For me, it’s not about perfection, but connection.
